today i bring you- naked chef!
I am so sick of this snow, and although I spent all day yesterday in nothing but an apron and am thrilled that my apartment’s warmth allows me to do that, I long for the days when I can forgo my boots for sandals and toss off my layers for skimpy little pieces of cotton….
Yesterday was indeed the perfect little sunday… I made an early trip to the liquor store for mimosa ingredients and then walked to the grocery store to surround myself in beautiful colors and fresh fruit (even if its been shipped half-way across the world this time of year the produce department is one of my most favorite places) meandering through the isles as my wallet screams and my hands have minds of their owns… I love grocery shopping… I mean really love it…
Upon returning home I made corn bread and cranberry muffins, drank mimosas, followed by a huge salad and this amazing root vegetable pie with (more mimosas) these rosemary biscuits on top – a recipe that I took from the Bon Appetite, and I have to say, my finished product was as beautiful as the picture on the website.
The oscars were mildly entertaining and fairly predictable, David tortured me and had the Barbara Walters pre-show on and I have come to the realization that she is my least favorite person on the planet…. In case anyone ever wanted to know, now you do….
And as mellow and uneventful as my sunday was… sometimes its the most beautiful thing… prancing around in my unstained apron, ass cheeks open for a spanking or squeeze, drink in hand, the aroma of home cooked meals caressing our noses and loins.
Today, I have some errands to run, birthday presents to buy, some writing to do etc…..
