As someone who travels very little, I am stoked to say that this coming weekend will be one that David and I are going to Miami. Its my birthday on the 22nd and so we thought we’d do something a little out of the ordinary. Even though the chicago weather has started to turn into a sunny mixture of shorts and warm breezes,  I’m sure Miami will take the cake as far as a beautiful day is concerned. I long for the beaches full of nudity – I mean as gorgeous as Lake Michigan as concerned…. its a little conservative.  Although I rode my bike down the path the other day, how stunning was the water, hints of foam decorating the solid blue mass. Its the time of year that  isn’t too crowded, the sea of spandex is manageable to maneuver in and out of and stray children are at a minimum. 

Its my normal monday at the moment, sitting naked in front of the computer, drinking my black coffee, face unwashed and hair unbrushed, listening to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs (perhaps buying a ticket for their show at the Aragon on the 26th), all while my electronic cigarette charges…. yes I have an electronic cigarette…. its very bizarre and I feel a little bit like a robot, but its pretty sweet! It has a nicotine cartridge in the base of the piece and along with some water vapor thats what you inhale. Its a new device and I would certainly make some changes for future designs, but all in all I dig it. Smoking is awesome but pretty gross, and this is not gross at all…. just a little odd and very futuristic

(Ok so I bought a ticket for the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s! I love them- anyone checked out their new album?Its Blitz,  not as good as Fever To Tell in my opinion, but I’ve been thoroughly enjoying it! Yeah this show is gonna rock, yeah yeah yeah it is!!!!!!!)

Well, I best be gettin on with my day… there are errands to run and showers to take.
