Its finally a fall day that I can embrace with wholeheartedness and excitement. Lately its been so cold and rainy my interest in the changing of the seasons is buried in a glass of whiskey.  So today, when I am able to be filled with this awe at an amazing – gorgeous day- I am thrilled! I sit in a bra, trying to work but mostly just staring out the window–

So I have taken a few days off of work, as I had planned to go to Vegas for that Netgirls event, but I figured even though it had annoyingly gotten postponed again, I could still take the days off of work. And how fucking nice is it to stay home, not getting dressed, sitting bare ass to computer chair, making these breakfasts that are to die for, sleeping till’ noon,  not having to wait till’ five to hit the bottle etc…….

Thursday the sun was shining and so David and I took the beautiful afternoon for a walk, which led us to this meat shoppe that has all organic, grass fed, free range meat products. I was in snob heaven, not to mention they had soft homemade pretzels (that literally melt in your mouth) and an array of jams and sauces. So we picked up some groovy sausage  that was phenominal and left the meat shoppe and the little old lady who kept asking for the good bread- long story, had to be there- yeah one of those…..

So now here I sit naked with my coffee, pondering what events shall  take place today…. hmmmm…. the possibilities. I think I will spend most of it in the kitchen and then once the darkness falls head over to my lady friends house and rock the night away…….
