Sunday working the SWOP table at the xxxtacy porn convention was great- met some wonderful people, and truthfully was disappointed by some. But those who made my day beautiful overcame the ones that didn’t. And honestly, when the drinking begins in the morning, by the late afternoon, who the fuck isn’t beautiful? Actually that’s not true at all- but the love flowed- as did the booze- as did the day. I did an interview with David Law for Playboy radio, which was kinda cool, I’m not great with being put on the spot, but where I failed David the attention whore (and i say that with love. and a little distaste) as always, filled in.

So a new fucking year- older- perhaps slightly wiser- I do feel like every day I know more about myself and less about the world. But I just try and flow….
Actually to be quite honest I was pretty unexcited about this birthday, feeling like it was just a day and that it didn’t really needed to be celebrated. I had made sure my closest girl would come out with me to hear some old school Chicago blues, and yea, we told some peeps, but I didn’t really give a shit about it. Well we pregamed at home for a while then went out- and more people came then could really even fit comfortably in the bar. Which was so brilliantly pretty. I felt extremely loved. And I thank you all.
In fact the whole weekend was lovely- I woke up Saturday morning, and like so many birthdays before and in fact just like the night I was born, the mist was thick- carrying the kisses of mother earth throughout the air and embracing the world with wet wet kisses. Fuck! there are moments – like today- that i am just astonished by how much i love my life. oh, sure- i bitch, i moan, i hate most people and despise my day job at times- but- when you can just be- and take all the excitement and beauty in- fuck man…. its amazing. I borrowed my buddies hard drive last night, and now I sit, copying all of his music- and oh the joy- of being overloaded with free songs! I’ve also recently gotten a roommate- My closest female friend is staying with me, for however long she chooses- maybe a week, maybe a few months, and I embrace every second of it. Granted, after living alone- having someone in the normally empty space is a bit strange- but I’ve missed this girl so very much while she was away on her travels, that having her back is beyond phenomenal.

I plan on taking him out with us tonight for our usual Monday night rager- because, as well all know, its the best night to party!- and obviously I don’t drink nearly enough these days! lol… oh if only that were the case.
